To make you smile

Hannah showing her teeth.

Andrew smiling at Mommy.

The wooden high chair I have refinished. Sorry the picture is sideways... blogger won't let me rotate it around. Right now the varnish is drying but I can't wait to let the kiddos use it tomorrow at the table.

Andrew crawling video

Here is a video of Andrew crawling. Check below for my other updates I did earlier.

Visit to Nashville to See Grandma

Josh's Mom was in Nashville for a week on a business trip and we drove down for two days to see her. Here is Andrew all happy in his seat.

Here is Hannah and Grandma while we were waiting for our food at TGI Fridays.

Andrew is pulling up! He still can't figure out how to sit himself back down. :)

Strawberry Pickin' and Huber's Farm

Here is our family at Huber's waiting on our take out meal to be ready. Super yummy fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, fried buscuits, and apple butter!

We too first timer's Kolby and Andrew with us. It was so much fun! Here they are with their "adopted daughter" (for the picture only) Hannah. :)

Here is Josh, Andrew, and Andrew(Drew)! Notice Drew is sound asleep in his stroller, the jolting of the "hay ride" lulled him to sleep! He has been fighting off a tummy bug and wasn't feeling the best. He slept threw most of the strawberry pickin'.

Hannah enjoyed running back and forth between us all "helping" us pick strawberries.
Hannah and Kolby

Andrew woke up near the end and realized he had slept and missed all the leaves just right at his pickin' level. :)

We had a great day. I recommend pickin' your own strawberries to anyone! I got a great flat for $7 and can't wait to enjoy my yummy berries and make a few batches of freezer jam.

To Potty or Not to Potty?

That is a valid question!

So after my Sunday attention to potty training and several accidents along the way... Monday my Hannah told me that she did NOT want to wear her Elmo panties, or go on the potty --- she only wanted to wear her diaper. I even asked several times. Sigh.

So yesterday was a step backwards...

Today she has been more interested and sits on her potty but then doesn't go! As nap time came we put her in a diaper. I have a feeling it will be really wet when I get her up from nap and then we'll see how this afternoon goes. Hmmmm.

I hope we have more success soon!

New and Exciting Things!

New things are going on at the Tillman house! We have been working on updating our kitchen. I stripped the top cabinets and refinished them, changing out all the hardware/knobs in the process. I also painted the walls from pale yellow to a cool tan. I took down the mini-blinds and made a curtain to match my new decor. The bottom cabinets are next on my to-do list and then we are repainting the bathroom. :)
Here is a picture of part of the kitchen...

Here is a picture of Hannah with her baby. She wrapped it up and was carrying it around and giving "baby" her paci. Such a sweet little mommy. :)

Here is Hannah ready for church! She is wearing her super cute dress I scored an awesome deal on at The Children's Place for like $4! The sandals are Gap brand but I got at a thrift store for $2.50! I love great deals. :) Notice Hannah has her purse all ready for church and her bunny friend too.

So this afternoon after nap I decided we would start potty training! Crazy I know! We had bought these Elmo panties a few weeks ago and Hannah was excited to try them. I had a couple of pull ups I wanted to use at first to help with accidents but she did not like the feel of them. SO, we went straight to the Elmo panties.

I set the timer for every 10-15 minutes and we sat her on the potty. After a couple of tries she went on the potty! Yeah! But in the next 10 minutes she went twice on the kitchen floor, so it is still a work in progress. We'll keep on tomorrow and I'll update you on the process. Here is Hannah being silly on the potty!

Here is Andrew just trying so hard to crawl the proper way. We better watch out it will be soon!

He is also SO close to pulling up and cruising!! Here is my little man practicing his standing skills.

Giggles

Here is my sweet Andrew. He is growing SO much and is getting around everywhere and getting into everything! He is now eating mostly table food. Andrew will even feed his own self veggies and has prompted Hannah to ask me if she can eat some of "Andrew's food" too. Thanks to Andrew's love for (ANY) food, Hannah is eating more and more healthier options and variety.

Hannah and Andrew are great entertainment for each other! Sometimes I will just hear them giggling at each other and I don't even know why! Below is a picture of Hannah giving Andrew a kiss. She would hold her face on his cheek and then they both would giggle! Oh so cute!

Here is a video of the kiss and the giggling!
