The Mean 'ol Nurse with Shots

Well Hannah and I had an eventful doctor's visit! We got right in and didn't have to wait very long at all in the doctor's office. Hannah was smiling for the nurse and being happy as usual. They had to but the uninary bag on her to get a sample. She was a good sport about it - until they had to take it off! Hannah now weighs 13lb. 13oz. The doctor said she is "perfect" - she weighs right in 50 percentile for height and weight. Plus, Hannah is moving right along with skill developement! Yeah for Hannah! When the doctor first came in he tried talking "baby talk" to Hannah go get her to smile. She gave him one smile then quickly turned her smile into a sad face and began to cry! She then proceeded to cry almost the rest of the visit! I am amazed because she is normally happy and curious to her world around her. She did not like this doctor poking her and checking her ears, nose, throat, etc. I finally got her calmed down and then the nurse came in with all the shots! Poor, poor, poor Hannah! The needles are supposed to retract once all the shot is gone, but the first needle did not retract quickly like it should have and a big huge drop of blood came out. It scared me. Thankfully, the second, third, and forth shots were not blood bearing. I just wish they made the needles smaller! By the end Hannah was screaming, and not just the sad cry like last time. She was heaving sobs and tears which just made my heart melt. I wanted to scoop her up off the table and run for our lives! By the time we got home Hannah was asleep in her carseat and slept off the agony of the mean 'ol nurse with the shots and the "scary" doctor. I gave her tylenol and she is sleeping right now. It is just so tough to be a baby!

Gator Fan from Birth!

She's Found her Feet

This week Hannah found her feet! She can now lay on the bed or couch for minutes on end and play with her feet and legs. She just can't believe their are more wiggly limbs on her body to put in her mouth besiders her hands. She is just one lucky girl! =)

A Little Behind!

I keep forgetting to post the newest and latest! Hannah is getting more active and requiring more of time time because she is not sleeping as much during the day. But she is sleeping a lot at night! She sleeps anywhere from 10 - 12 hours every night! She is an amazing little girl!! Everyone keeps telling how "lucky" I am to have a baby that sleeps so long at night. I know I am blessed beyond compare with this beautiful bouncing baby girl! (and she really loves to bounce in either her bouncy seat or now in your arms!) We go back to the doctor next week for her FOUR MONTH check up and shots. It seems so hard to believe it was only four months ago that I met Hannah for the first time. Amazing!

Home Again!

Hannah has been a "world traveler" the past three weeks! Our family has gone over a thousand miles spanning 5 states. Hannah has been such a good traveler! She sleeps most of the time in the car but also has her happy moments and awake times. She likes it when Josh and I play music and sing to her. =)

Hannah had a good time being at Uncle Steven and Aunt Laura's wedding. (picture below) Her Great Aunt Sharon watched her in the back of the church while Mommy and Daddy where in the wedding party. Then for the reception she was passed around a whole lot! =)

While we were in Jacksonville, Hannah, Josh, and I stayed at GG's house. We had a lot of fun and were busy on the go almost every day! The Sunday before we left Jax Josh and I took Hannah to the beach for the first time. It was not the best time because the wind was blowing hard and sand was everywhere. Maybe next summer she will have a better time.

Also one day I took Hannah swimming... she didn't really like the cold water at first, but once she got used to it she enjoyed it. Maybe this wasn't the best picture to show it... The sun was bright!

Grandma and Grandpa Tillman got Hannah a fun new seat to sit in with learning toys all around. Hannah was very puzzled, "What are all these things around me?"
