30 Weeks!! Merry Christmas!!

I feel like I am on the last leg of my pregnancy journey. I get more nervous and excited every day. I just can't wait to hold precious Hannah in my arms and know she is okay. Today Josh and I had our hopefully our last Christmas just the two of us. We had a very relaxing weekend sleeping in and enjoying each other's company. We opened presents for quite a long time today. Hannah got many presents too, even though she is not here yet!! Sweet little baby girl, you will not go without!! I wanted to put a picture of my favorite Christmas present she received. It is from her Grandma and Papa and it is the sweetest cutest little Sunday dress and shiny black shoes! Baby girl clothes are just so much fun! I can't wait to see her in it!! Thank you Grandma and Papa!
I go back to the doctor next week. Please pray everything continues to develop correctly and is right on or ahead of schedule. Merry Christmas! Love, Josh, Joanna, and Hannah

29 Weeks

Not much to update you on since the last post. Hannah has been moving more than ever. Yesterday was just so funny. It seemed like she wiggled every second! I love feeling her move around because it helps me to know that she is doing okay and is healthy. I still do not have any test results back about my diabetes. Hopefully by the end of this week I will know something. Josh and I are looking forward to Friday! Friday starts a five day Christmas vacation for both of us. It has been such a long time since both of us even had more than one day together work-free. As much as we can't wait for Hannah to get here, we plan to enjoy our last Christmas just the two of us here in our cozy little home. This will be the last sane moments before all the craziness happens at the start of the new year.
Please continue to pray for sweet Hannah that she would grow and stay strong and healthy!!

Ultrasound and Doctor Visit

We saw the doctor today. I had my diabetes test, you drink the sweet drink and one hour later have your blood drawn. I guess they will notify me in a couple of days the results of the test.
While we waited the hour before my blood was drawn we had our ultrasound. Hannah kept putting her hands in front of her face so we couldn't get a good look at her. Such a stinker already!! In the picture to the far right the downward slope is her head and bump out is her nose and mouth with her hand right up there like she is sucking her fingers! Her little knee and leg is the other bump you see. So cute! They said she weighs about 3 pounds and for her "age" is in the 68 percentile. Which means she is bigger than 68% of other babies her size. I was so glad to hear that news. It just doesn't seem possible that I have a 3 pound 15 inch long baby inside me. My belly just doesn't look big enough. So here is our sweet baby having a such a good time in her Mommy. Keep praying she will develope correctly and continue to grow right on schedule!!

28 Weeks

I am behind in writing for this week. Not much new has been going on in the way of my pregnancy. Hannah has been moving a lot more and the other night Josh was really able to feel her moving around!! He kept poking just the right spot and she would kick back. We go to the doctor tomorrow and I will have the diabetes test, ultrasound, and doctor visit. I will update after our appointment!
Keep praying for sweet baby Hannah!!

27 Weeks

I am at 27 weeks and have 10 more to go until I am full term. This means anytime after February 13 I could have Hannah at ANY time!! I am getting a little larger, Hannah is taking up more and more room inside. According to websites I will start to really get big over the next few weeks. Hannah is just over 2 pounds and yesterday she started to give me powerful little kicks and elbows that hurt. I guess she is running out of space. Sometimes when she moves into different positions my belly is so tight and stretched. I have to poke her to get her to move back to a better position.
Saturday I had my first shower. It was so pretty and PINK! I got lots of nice things, but the cutest present I belive were these itsy bitsy newborn diapers!! They are so cute! Josh said he didn't know how his big hands were supposed to be putting such a small diaper on a little person. I guess we'll find out. =)
Please continue to pray for my health and rest. Also pray for Hannah that she would continue growing on schedule and her heart would continue beating strong.
