New and Exciting Things!

New things are going on at the Tillman house! We have been working on updating our kitchen. I stripped the top cabinets and refinished them, changing out all the hardware/knobs in the process. I also painted the walls from pale yellow to a cool tan. I took down the mini-blinds and made a curtain to match my new decor. The bottom cabinets are next on my to-do list and then we are repainting the bathroom. :)
Here is a picture of part of the kitchen...

Here is a picture of Hannah with her baby. She wrapped it up and was carrying it around and giving "baby" her paci. Such a sweet little mommy. :)

Here is Hannah ready for church! She is wearing her super cute dress I scored an awesome deal on at The Children's Place for like $4! The sandals are Gap brand but I got at a thrift store for $2.50! I love great deals. :) Notice Hannah has her purse all ready for church and her bunny friend too.

So this afternoon after nap I decided we would start potty training! Crazy I know! We had bought these Elmo panties a few weeks ago and Hannah was excited to try them. I had a couple of pull ups I wanted to use at first to help with accidents but she did not like the feel of them. SO, we went straight to the Elmo panties.

I set the timer for every 10-15 minutes and we sat her on the potty. After a couple of tries she went on the potty! Yeah! But in the next 10 minutes she went twice on the kitchen floor, so it is still a work in progress. We'll keep on tomorrow and I'll update you on the process. Here is Hannah being silly on the potty!

Here is Andrew just trying so hard to crawl the proper way. We better watch out it will be soon!

He is also SO close to pulling up and cruising!! Here is my little man practicing his standing skills.

Yeah for Hannah potty training! What a great thing that will be!! Keep rewarding rewarding rewarding! Noah got stickers (because honestly he doesn't need any sugar to add to his hyperness) & he LOVED that. Girls supposedly are easier too! :) Great job in the kitchen!
